Medical Image Processing and Virtual Reality Simulation

In Medical Image Processing and Virtual Reality Simulation innovative image processing methods, algorithms and software systems for computer-aided diagnostics and therapy are developed. The focus is on deep learning-based and model-based methods for modeling and analysis of spatial structures (e.g. tumors, cerebral infarction areas, organs etc.) and dynamic processes (e.g. heart movement, respiration, blood flow etc.) in medical 3D and 4D image data.
